From its humble beginnings 9 years ago, Alta Mae Company, L. L. C. and its affiliated companies have a depth of over 38 years’ experience in the residential and commercial rental business in Troy and Pike County, Alabama unmatched by few other self-owned and self-managed operators! Having always been locally family-owned and operated, we pride and dedicate ourselves to providing affordable residential housing to University students and staff, non-students, working folks and retired persons along with good value in prime commercial rentals!
Our philosophy
We firmly believe that in order to provide the best rental experience to our customers, it is a necessity to operate and manage what you own rather than employing third-party managers, operators and real estate agencies. We are further committed to the old saying of: “If you want a task done or managed a certain way, you better do it yourself!” Therefore, we employ no third-party managers and so when you need a service or maintenance call you talk directly to the owners versus third-party managers. Also, as the owner/managers of our company properties, we live, work and worship in the Troy community.
Our specialities
